I’m the kind of guy that marches to the beat of his own drum. I’m eclectic in all things, not by value but by circumstance. Born on the east coast, childhood in Latin America, college in the Midwest, and now I’m on the West Coast.

I’m a people person: black, white, brown, yellow, red. I love connecting people with each other. Healthy relationships are where I thrive, and social networking is my domain. Getting paid to connect with people over coffee, dinner, dessert, or drinks is my dream profession.

I want to be my community’s go-to person. I’m an intellectual jack-of-all-trades and learn best when I know what I’m learning will help the people that I love. I’m not afraid of complicated ideas, situations, or realities. Life is messy and the clean-up is a losing battle still worth fighting.

I’m a media geek. I actually try to apply the thoughts of McLuhan, Ellul, Postman, and Foucault. I truly believe, in part if not in full that:

Christ was the Medium and the Message.

Our control of Techne controls us.
